Thai food is an original and rich amalgam of aromas, subtle blends of herbs and spices and contrasting textures and tastes.


Ingredients

  • Glass Noodles 100 grams
  • Raw Papaya peeled and sliced 1/2 medium
  • Oil 3 tablespoons
  • Garlic finely chopped 4 cloves
  • Green capsicum cut into 1/2 inch pieces 1/2 medium
  • Celery sliced 1 stalk
  •  Fish sauce optional 2 tablespoons
  • Add salt to taste
  •  White pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon
  • Roasted peanuts crushed 1/2 cup
  • Bean sprouts 1 cup
  • Lemon juice 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped a few sprigs
 

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1

    Soak the noodles in the hot water for a few minutes.

    Step 2

    Drain, refresh and add one-tablespoon oil and mix it well.

    Step 3

    Heat the remaining oil in the Prestige Cookware.

    Step 4

    Add garlic and stir-fry briefly or until light golden in colour.

    Step 5

    Add papaya slices, capsicum, celery and stir-fry for a minute. Add the noodles and toss.

    Step 6

    Season with the fish sauce, salt and pepper powder. Remove it from heat.

    Step 7

    Add crushed roasted peanuts and bean sprouts.

    Step 8

    Add lemon juice, mix well and serve warm garnished with the coriander leaves
