Turmeric tea has anti-inflammatory protective properties to prevent and heal arthritis, lung conditions. Its rich anti-oxidant properties protect the body against cancer, Alzheimer’s disease. It helps in weight loss and manages diabetes too.


1-inch fresh Turmeric Root grated or a teaspoon of turmeric powder.

½ teaspoon of Cinnamon Powder

½ teaspoon of Dried Ginger Powder or ¼ inch of fresh grated Ginger

¼ teaspoon of coarsely ground Pepper

1 ½ teacup of water

Honey as per taste (optional)



Step By Step Method

  • Boil the water with all the above ingredients for around 10 minutes. Cool it down and have it lukewarm for great health benefits. Add the honey when it comes to lukewarm temperature.
