Til Ki Kheer on Lord Krishna's birthday is a complete treat in his remembrance as milk and milk products were his favourites.


  • 1 litre of full cream Milk
  • 1 tin of condensed Milk
  • 100 grams of White Til ( sesame seeds)
  • 40 grams of Sugar
  • 100 grams of desiccated Coconut
  • 4 Cardamoms ( crushed)
  • 1 tablespoon of Raisins
  • 1 tablespoon of coarsely chopped Cashewnuts ( soaked in warm water)

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1

    Dry roast the sesame seeds till crisp. Crush them coarsely.

    Step 2

    Boil the whole milk in a wide sauce pan and simmer it for 10 minutes till it thickens a bit. Keep stirring the milk.

    Step 3

    Now add the condensed milk to it and keep stirring for another 10 minutes.

    Step 4

    Add the sugar and crushed cardamoms to it.

    Step 5

    Now add the roasted sesame seeds and desiccated coconut to it. Cook for another 10 minutes.

    Step 6

    Serve the Til Ki Kheer garnished with cashew nuts and raisins.
