One of the world famous tandoori recipes is this Indian chicken starter that has its roots in the Mughlai cuisine of the Mughal era. This chicken tandoori grill recipe is a short and crisp way of making it at home.


Ingredients

800gms.of 1 Chicken
 
For Marinade :
 
3tsp of Lemon Juice 
2 tsp of Red Chilli Powder
1 cup of Curd 1 tsp of Garlic Paste
1 tsp of Ginger Paste
1 tsp of Green Chilli Paste
½ tsp of Garam Masala Powder
Oil for Brushing
Salt to taste
Few drops of Edible Red Colour

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1

    Wash the chicken and make diagonal incisions all over it.

    Step 2

    Mix all ingredients of the marinade.

    Step 3

    Add the chicken pieces and refrigerate for 1 hour.

    Step 4

    Brush with oil or butter and then place the chicken in rotisserie.

    Step 5

    Bake at 230 degree Centigrade for 30 minutes.

    Step 6

    Once it is done sprinkle with chat masala. Serve hot with onion slices and lemon wedges.
