Beetroot 1 All purpose flour/maida 1 cup Wheatflour 1 cup Semolina 1/4 cup Clarified butter /ghee 2 tsp Cardamom powder 1 tsp Fresh greated coconut 1 cup Cashews 8 -finely cut Cooking oil 2 tsp Termeric 1/4 tsp Salt 1/4 tsp Milk 1 cup Saffron 1/4 tsp Water 250 ml Garnishing Saffron stigmas 1/4 tsp Pista 1/4 cup Silver sprinklers 1 tsp

Step By Step Method

  • 1)Great the beetroot, use only 1/4 of greated beetroot with little water to make juice using mixer, strain the juice, keep it aside. 2) Mix wheat flour, maida, oil, termeric, salt in a bowl, add the beetroot juice and make dough. Let the dough rest for 30minutes. 3)Take the 3/4 portion of greated beetroot, greated coconut and grinde seperately in mixer without adding water. 4)Heat the ghee in a pan roast beetroot till it looses raw smell, add coconut, semolina, cardamom powder, cashews, mix well till mixture leaves pan, turn off fire and allow to cool. 4)Make samll balls of dough, flater them using roller, cut small round pooris shape using sharp edge steel cup, Seperate them. 5)Arrange 3/4 round shaped dough pooris consecutively, fill the beetroot coconut mix, fold and roll them in a way to get rose shape. 6) greese ghee to steaming pan place rose shaped momos and steam in steamer/cooker on low flame around 10-12 minutes. #Rose momos are ready. 7) Add milk, honey in serving plate stir well, garnish with pista, saffron, silver sprinklers. 8)Transe rose momos to a serving plate, filled with honey loaded milk -sprinkle honey, pista, saffron and pista pieces above rose momos. #Rose Momos in Honey Loaded Milk is ready.
