Rabdi is a famous Indian dessert. It is usually prepared and served in festivals and special occassions. It can be served as a sweet itself or can be served alongwith Jalebis/Malpuas as it makes an awesome combination as well.


Full Cream Milk 500ml Sugar 5-6tsps Pistachios 15-20 blanched & peel it Rose petals - Garnishing(optional)

Step By Step Method

  • Take a heavy bottom pan and add milk to it. Bring the milk to a boil. Lower the heat to medium low and keep stirring and scraping the sides of the pan for every 5minutes. Cook the milk for almost 1hour or till it is reduced to quarter and forms thick. Now add sugar to it and let it mix well. Add blanched,peeled and chopped pistachios to it and mix it and off the stove. Now take into serving bowl and garnish with blanched full pistachios and rose petals for an amazing look alongwith its marvellous taste. Serve chilled. Saffron and elaichi powder is optional.
