The mouth watering Pedhas prepared with devotion during Janmashtami are going to turn out nothing but exquisite. Use cookie moulds to give a uniform and neat shape to your Pedhas.


  • 300 grams of Sugar
  • 8-10 sliced Pistachios
  • 500 grams of crushed Khoya
  • ½ teaspoon of Cardamom Powder
  • 2-3 drops of Food Colour

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1

    Roast the crushed khoya and sugar together in a pan till it blends and thickens well.Take care to stir under a low flame.

    Step 2

    Now mix in the cardamom powder and food colour in it. Let this mixture cool for 10 minutes.

    Step 3

    Now place this mixture into the cookie moulds by pressing in appropriate amounts into it.

    Step 4

    Now garnish with the sliced pistachios by placing them in the centre of the Pedhas.
