Ingredients

All-purpose Flour [Maida]
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Baking Soda
1 teaspoon Salt
Fresh Yogurt and Warm Milk for making the dough
2 tablespoon Ghee
 
For Paneer Stuffing
Grated Paneer
Finely chopped Onion, Coriander leaves, mint leaves
Grated Ginger
Red Chili Powder, and Cumin Powder
1 teaspoon Ajwain
Salt to taste

Step By Step Method

  • How To Make
     
    - Mix all-purpose flour 1 tbs sugar, salt as per taste, and baking soda.
    - Add fresh yogurt and warm milk with 2 tbs of ghee and make a smooth dough.
    - Cover the dough with a clean moist cloth and leave it for an hour.
    - After an hour, knead it again.
    - Take a small ball-shaped dough, knead it slightly to remove any air.
    - Take a pan, mix grate paneer, finely chopped ginger, onion, coriander leaves, mint leaves and grated ginger. Add a pinch of red chilli powder, cumin powder and salt as per taste.
    - Fill in the dough with 2 tbs of grated paneer mixture and use ghee to flatten the dough with your hand. 
    -  Sprinkle some coriander leaves and ajwain on one side of the dough.
    - Sprinkle a little amount of water on one side and place it on Tawa.
    - After 2 minutes, hold the tawa side and put it upside down the flame and cook the other side.
    -  Using a spatula, take out the naan out.
    - Chur-chur [crush] the naan with your hand and add an ample amount of ghee on the naan.
    - Serve it hot with green chutney, onions and pickle.
