Step By Step Method

  • 1. Grease a flat tray or container and keep it aside. 2. Heat 1 cup water and the sugar on a high flame, until the sugar dissolves and forms 2 thread consistency. 3. Add 1 cup of ghee and mix well, stirring all the time. 4. When the mixture begins to froth, add the sieved Bengal gram flour slowly and keep stirring to avoid forming lumps. 5. Add the remaining ½ cup ghee and continue stirring to avoid burning on the underside. 6. When the mixture begins to leave the sides and looks porous, it will form a big mass. 7. Immediately pour it on a greased tray. 8. After 2 minutes, cut it into diamond shapes and leave on the tray to cool.
