This mutton ka aachar is very delicious as it tastes like pickles. It can be kept for 2-3 days. It can be carried on a long journey as it doesn't spoil. It can be eaten with rice,roti,chappati etc.


Ingredients

1kg tender boneless Mutton 250 ml refined oil 2 tbsp jeera 1 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds 1 tbsp methi seeds 1 tsp hing 3 tbsp freshly grinded ginger and garlic paste 3 tbsp chilli powder 1 tsp turmeric powder Salt to taste

Step By Step Method

  • 1-Wash the Mutton and squeeze all the water out of it. 2- Dry roast jeera,methi,mustard separately until the colour changes and grind them into a powder. 3- in a mixing bowl mix the Mutton with ginger and garlic paste, chilli powder, turmeric powder, grinded spice powder,salt and lemon juice. 3- in a heavy bottom vessel heat the oil and jeera, mustard, hing and methi seeds. When they start to splutter add the Mutton and mix it properly in the oil. Cook it on a low flame for 50 -60 minutes while stirring in between.
