Malabari Paratha is a delicious Indian recipe served with the main course. Also known as Kerala Paratha, they are one of the different types of Indian unleavened bread.


  • Refined flour( Maida) - 300 gms
  • Oil – 200 ml
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar - 5 gms
  • Milk - 200 ml

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1.  Prepare Dough by combining refined flour, sugar, salt, milk and a little oil and keep aside for half an hour.

    Step 2. Separate the dough into 100 gms balls and roll into thin wraps, Lift from one side and pleat right down till the bottom. With the oiled side up, make into a roll and tuck the edge underneath.

    Step 3. Keep aside and allow to rest again for another 5-10 min.

    Step 4. Repeat this process for all the balls.

    Step 5. Now roll each ball into a thick wrap and roast on a non-stick pan by applying little oil on both sides.
