Ingredients

500 grams Mutton (medium-sized pieces)
Yogurt
Salt as per taste
Mustard Oil (you can use ghee instead of mustard oil)
Turmeric Powder
Red Chilli Powder
Fennel powder
Ginger powder
Asafoetida
Cumin seeds,
Cinnamon, Cloves,
Peppercorns, & Cardamom

Step By Step Method

  • 1. Take medium-sliced meat in a pan and wash it properly with water.
    2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add cinnamon, bay leaves, green cardamom, cloves, salt, asafoetida, and meat together.
    3. Let the meat turns brown. After a few minutes, add a cup of water
    4. Add red chilli powder along with turmeric powder to the meat. Keep stirring for about a minute.
    5. Mix the curd nicely and add it into the pressure cooker.
    6. Add water, fennel powder, ginger powder, and pressure cook for 2 minutes.
    7. Peel & grind green and brown cardamom and add to the meat dish.
    8. Finally, sprinkle cumin powder and simmer for a minute.
