Wet Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Essence
  • ½ cup of Warm Water
  • ½ cup of Organic Unrefined Cane Sugar
  • ½ tablespoon of Apple Cider Vinegar


Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup of Whole Wheat Flour
  • ½ teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • Pinch of Salt
  • ⅓ cup of Chocolate Chips

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1

    Line the muffin tray with muffin liners. Preheat the oven at 180 degree celsius for 10 minutes.

    Step 2

    Sift the dry ingredients together except the chocolate chips.

    Step 3

    Heat the water till hot, dissolve the sugar in. Add in the oil, mix it up.

    Step 4

    Add the apple cider vinegar, vanilla essence and give it a good stir.

    Step 5

    Now add the dry ingredients and mix it up till there is a smooth and flowing consistency batter.

    Step 6

    Throw in the chocolate chips and mix it up well.

    Step 7

    Pour this batter into the muffin moulds, leaving some space for it to expand while baking.

    Step 8

    You could top a few chocolate chips after pouring in the batter.

    Step 9

    Now bake these for 25-30 minutes at 180 degree celsius. Check with a toothpick to see it coming out clean.

    Step 10

    Remove these muffins after 4-5 minutes and let them cool down. Now enjoy these sweet treats with hot beverages.
