INGREDIENTS: MINCED MEAT- 1/2 KG FRIED GRAM-4 TBSPS ONION-1 MEDIUM (DICED) TOMATO-1 MEDIUM (DESEEDED) GINGER PASTE- 1 TBSP GARLIC PASTE- 1 TBSP CHILI POWDER- 1 TSP TURMERIC POWDER- 1/4 TSP CORIANDER POWDER- 1 TSP KASURI METHI - 1 TBSP SALT- TO TASTE FOR GARNISH: CORIANDER- FINELY SLICED FRIED ONION SLICES

Step By Step Method

  • 1. GRIND ALL THE INGREDIENTS IN A MIXER GRINDER TO A SMOOTH PASTE. 2. ROLL THIS PASTE INTO SMALL MEATBALLS. 3. TAKE A NON STICK WOK AND BOIL ONE CUP OF WATER IN IT. ADD A PINCH OF SALT AND A PINCH OF CHILLI POWDER TO THIS WATER. 4. START ADDING THE MEATBALLS VERY SLOWLY TO THIS BOILING WATER AND ALLOW THE WATER TO GRADUALLY DRY UP, WHILE IN THE PROCESS COOKING UP THE MEATBALLS. 5. ONCE THE WATER DRIES UP, ADD 2 TBSPS OF PURE GHEE AND SIMMER TILL THE MEATBALLS TURN GOLDEN BROWN. KEEP SAUTEING THEM SO THAT THEY DON'T BURN. 6. ONCE DONE, REMOVE AND SERVE ON A PLATTER AND GARNISH WITH FRIED ONIONS AND CORIANDER LEAVES. "THE YUMMY DUMDAAR KOFTE ARE READY TO BE DEVOURED"
