All-purpose Flour [Maida]
Semolina [Suji]
Baking Soda
Panner for stuffing bhatura
garam masala
Finely chopped green chillies, coriander leaves
Oil for frying
Salt as per taste
Lukewarm water


Step By Step Method

  • How To Prepare
    - Mix all-purpose flour, semolina in a bowl.
    - Add 1 tbs of baking powder, salt as per taste, fresh yogurt and blend all to make a smooth dough using lukewarm water.
    - Cover the dough and leave it to settle down for a few minutes.
    -  Now, grate panner in another bowl, add salt, finely chopped green chillies, coriander leaves and garam masala. Mix it all. 
    - Make small, lemon-sized balls from the dough and stuff it with 1tbs of paneer mixture.
    - Roll it flat.
    - Heat oil in a frying pan and deep-fry the flattened dough on medium heat till it turns golden brown.
    - Serve it hot with pickles or red chilli sauce.
