Arbi Gosht (Colocasia) is an interesting food when served hot tastes yum to each people of all ages.


½ kg of Arbi (medium sized) 2 nos. of Onions
3 tbsp of Oil
1 tsp of Ginger-Garlic Paste
¼ tsp of Dhania Powder
¼ tsp of Turmeric Powder
2 tsp of Chopped Coriander
1 tsp of Chat Masala Pinch of ajwain seeds (ajwain)
Salt to taste

Step By Step Method

  • Boil the arbi in a cooker for 4-5 minutes until it’s properly boiled. Peel the skin. Flatten the pieces. Mix ginger-garlic paste, dhania powder, turmeric powder, ajwain, 1 tsp chat masala and salt. Apply the paste to flattened arbi. Brush with little oil. Keep it on the grill rack. Grill at 200o Centigrade for 25 minutes. Turn the sides of arbi pieces midway during the cooking process. Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
