Gobi Kheema -Minced cauliflower

It is made with cauliflower that is cut finely cut almost to resemble kheema which is a mince. A simple preparation that goes great with lentil and rice.


  • 1 medium sized cauliflower, cut finely
  • 1 onion chopped fine
  • 2 tomatoes chopped fine
  • 2- 3 green chillies chopped fine
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh ginger
  • 2 teaspoons coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1//4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 4 tablespoons oil
  • salt to taste

Step By Step Method

  • Step 1. Heat oil in vessel. Add onions to it and lightly brown it. Now add the green chillies and ginger and fry for a minute.

    Step 2. Throw in the cauliflower and fry for 5 minutes. Then add the tomatoes, fresh coriander, garam masala, turmeric, coriander powder, salt and mix well.

    Step 3. Cover with a lid and keep on medium flame for 25 minutes till the cauliflower is cooked. Serve hot with lentil and rice. Enjoy!
