SUGAR 600 GMS
GHEE 3 TBSP
RICE FLOUR 1 CUP
PINCH OF BAKING SODA
OIL FOR FRYING
Kadai for frying, Sauce pan or Handi for making syrup and bowl for mixing flour.
Step By Step Method
MIX MAIDA , BAKING SODA, GHEE WITH WATER AND MAKE A SOFT DOUGH AND KEEP ASIDE.MAKE SUGAR SYRUP BY ADDING 1 ½ CUP OF WATER TO THE SUGAR.Bring it boil and simmer it till it forms one thread consistency.Knead the dough thoroughly and make it into six equal portions,roll out each portion into a thin roti apply ghee over the rolled dough and sprinkle rice flour all o ver .Now place another roti rolled over the prepared one and seal the edges by rolling the edges.slowly roll the chapathi tighly till the edge.Now cut the roll into 1 inch pieces .discard the extreme edges.Now take each piece and slighly roll them vertically like sticks.Deep fry in the oil on low flame till dey puff very well and are crispy golden brown in color .Take out and put them into sugar syrup directly repeat the procedure till the complete dough is consumed.Once they soak in enough syrup place them in a storage container.These can be stored for more than a week if stored in an air tight humid free atmosphere.
