Step By Step Method

  •  

    • Boil ada in 1 cup of water in the cooking bowl. The ada should remain soft but hold its shape. Drain the hot water and put the ada in the cold water so that it does not get  overcooked.
    • Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee in the cooking bowl and fry the cashewnuts and raisins till they turn light brown.
    • Soak the coconut in 1 cup warm water, grind and extract thick milk. Repeat the process and make a second extract and keep aside.
    • Crush the jaggery and melt it by adding 1 cup of water and filter the same by removing the impurities (if any) and boil further till it thickens.
    • Add the boiled ada which was kept aside in the jaggery mix and boil further in the cooking bowl.
    • Add second extract of the coconut milk and boil further and add the remaining ghee.
    • Mix the first extract of the coconut milk, fried dry fruits (cahewnuts and raisins). Stir well and heat thoroughly in the cooking bowl. Do not allow to boil.
