One globe contains more than one-third daily value of vitamin C and more than half the day's requirements of vitamin K. Research shows that antioxidants present in avocado are better absorbed with the healthy monounsaturated fat they have in abundance.

    Avocado paste, if applied to rashes and rough skin, makes the skin smoother. Being rich in magnesium, an avocado helps produce energy and is good for muscle contraction and relaxation. Consumption of avocados is good for those suffering from psoriasis and bad breath. Avocados have been found to offer protection against heart disease as well as various forms of cancer. Avocado is good for people suffering from digestive and circulatory problems. The nutrients and enzymes in avocado soothes the condition of inflamed mucous lining in the stomach and small intestines.  It also improves the body's ability to absorb carotenoids and nutrients.
